debris will enter the oil galleys from a bypass opening up. So the real question is: is capping off the stock oil cooler feed port a degenerating "upgrade" since it may induce more oil bypass opening into the oil galleys? I remember that Z1's full flow oil cooler kit included a cap for the stock cooler feed. Now, the kit includes a restricted hose back to the oil pan instead. I will ask for their experience on this topic.
